Distribution of this memo is unlimited. Abstract This memo defines the GpE, Gateau per Ethernet, protocol which allows to send cakes over Ethernet. 1. Introduction / warning Sending cakes over Ethernet is quite simple. The application of sending cages over Ethernet is quite basic for the moment because it works only in a local network, and only via ethernet. NEVER try to send a cake through USB or other type of cable indeed, you would die of it ! Do not try either to send a sugar free cake, for the Ethernet cable is a living form, whom likes sugar, so if you send a sugar free cake through an Ethernet cable, he will be upset. 2. Protocol The GpE is a client to client protocol. In no case a distribution (or share to avoid cake companies lawsuits) server is possible Here is an exemple of a basic installation : |----| |----| | 1 | | 3 | | |-----------2-----------| | |----| |----| Légende: 1 : Sender computer 2 : Ethernet cable 3 : Receiver computer Then, if the client "3" wants a cake, he asks to client "1": 342 NEED_GATEAU :Client3_IP Client "1" should answer : 343 OK_GATEAU or, if he refuses : 344 Go_away_fuckin_computer Wait the end ;)
